The Gilbert Chamber Foundation will host a community dialog at the 2021 Business & Education Summit with focus on how businesses and schools have been impacted by the changes of 2020, and how to forge a path forward this year and beyond.
Keynote speakers Maria Anguiano, Executive Vice President of Learning Enterprise with ASU and Representative Jennifer Pawlik, AZ House of Representatives District 17, will set the stage for small group discussions by offering insights on how students of today are being introduced to new ways of learning, how schools and businesses are adapting to change, and how that translates to a plan moving forward.
“It is vital to the growth and progress of our communities to bring businesses, educators, and government to the table when discussing challenges we face,” said Sarah Watts, President/CEO of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, “The 2021 Business and Education Summit will provide a unique opportunity to collaborate with local stakeholders to advance common goals.”
The Business & Education Summit is open to community stakeholders to gather thoughts and feedback about topics which impact the community at large, guests include representation from government, education, small and large businesses. Attendees will be grouped together to discuss a series of questions to assess opportunities to address local issues and ways in which to support one another. This event is a combined effort to work together and solve challenges that both the business and education communities face. The 2021 Business & Education Summit will be held virtually on Friday, February 19th from 7:30am-9:00am. Admission is free; pre-registration is required to receive the Zoom meeting information.
