With a growing need for skilled workforce professionals, Better Business Bureau Pacific Southwest (BBB) continues to provide innovative solutions to ensure its accredited business community can thrive.
BBB is proud to announce a new partnership with Grand Canyon University (GCU) to provide tuition scholarships and access to other GCU resources. Classes are flexible and offered on campus or online to allow a balance between home, college and work.
GCU, a private Christian university in Phoenix, Arizona, helps students find their purpose and achieve their potential through more than 300 academic programs, emphases and certificates. Both in-person and online, the curriculum features small class sizes and interactive lesson plans that keep students engaged.
GCU has nearly 90,000 students enrolled in its online programs, while enrollment on its ground campus has jumped from less than 1,000 traditional students in 2008 to more than 25,000.
This partnership will focus on improving workforce performance, with an emphasis on offering higher education and professional development opportunities for BBB Accredited Businesses to retain current workforce and attract new talent.
“BBB is committed to providing benefits, programs, and services that expand access to education. We are thrilled to partner with Grand Canyon University to create a new avenue of academic support for businesses and employees,” shares Tierra Terry, Director of Inclusion and Diversity Programming for BBB Pacific Southwest.
A tuition scholarship of 10% off programs and classes has been extended to BBB Pacific Southwest employees, BBB Accredited Businesses, and their employees residing within Greater Arizona and Southern California (BBB Pacific Southwest’s service area).
