Amtech Systems’ recent acquisition of Entrepix, a globally recognized expert in chemical mechanical polishing and wafer cleaning, also led to the personnel announcement of Jim Mello as the new general manager of Entrepix. With more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Mello will be responsible for the overall Entrepix business, driving global sales by working together with PR Hoffman and Intersurface Dynamics for further penetration into the SiC market. This will be accomplished by expanding sales channels internationally to reach more customers and broaden Entrepix’s product portfolio.
Prior to joining Entrepix, Mello served in various executive positions at SEZ America, most recently as VP of Sales and Marketing, and provided service to the strategic advisory board for the SEZ Group. Mello’s expertise will be instrumental in driving accelerated sales growth and continued technology innovation for Entrepix. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
