Scottsdale Fashion Square’s newly renovated south wing will sparkle even brighter when Blue Nile reopens its jewelry showroom on Friday, Aug. 23. The shopping center, part of the Macerich portfolio of one-of-a-kind retail properties in top markets, was Blue Nile’s first Arizona home in 2021, and the new showroom — the brand’s only new location in 2024 — introduces its latest store concept.

The new 1,200-square-foot space, which remains Blue Nile’s only retail store in Arizona, is located on the south wing’s first floor. The showroom offers clients a unique educational experience in a setting that enhances Blue Nile’s product presentation with rich colors, textures and finishes that reflect the brand’s elegance.

“Enhancing our retail offering remains a core element of the south wing redevelopment initiative,” said David Hyatt, General Manager for Macerich. “We were thrilled to be Blue Nile’s original home in Arizona, and even more so to know that the unparallelled experience we offer Blue Nile’s loyal shoppers has earned their confidence in the creation of an all-new market-exclusive showroom.”

Among the features of the new Blue Nile showroom is a reimagined presentation of the brand’s beloved diamond and gemstone jewelry collections. In addition, a series of private consultation rooms allow clients to meet with a dedicated personal jeweler to view curated pieces before making final selections and purchases.

“Our new showroom gives us the ability to take our clients on a journey to view engagement and bridal, luxury diamond jewelry and an expansive array of unique pieces that showcase our Blue Nile story,” said Joe Provenzo, Showroom Manager for Blue Nile Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Those familiar with the brand know that Blue Nile places a strong emphasis on educating customers about diamonds and jewelry. During the consultation, expert jewelers provide detailed information about the “Four Cs” of diamonds (cut, color, clarity and carat weight), enabling customers to make informed choices before ordering unique and personalized jewelry pieces.

For those with more immediate needs, such as a gift or a special occasion, Blue Nile recently introduced a curated collection of diamond jewelry essentials, which is available for same-day purchase. In addition, the brand has expanded beyond the natural diamonds that have been earning a loyal customer base for 25 years with the introduction of lab-grown diamonds, which offer additional price points and align with many clients’ growing interest in sustainable jewelry.

Customers who value responsible and sustainable practices in the jewelry industry will also be pleased to know

Blue Nile only purchases ethically sourced diamonds through the largest and most respected suppliers who adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process.
