Lerner & Rowe Gives Back, the nonprofit arm of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys, hosted its 13th Annual Charity Golf Classic on April 24 at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, continuing its tradition of raising more than $1 million annually to support Arizona nonprofits.
The event brought together community and business leaders for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, food, libations, games, swag and giving back. Proceeds from the tournament support Lerner & Rowe Gives Back’s philanthropy, with 100% of proceeds going back to Arizona nonprofits through its grant program and other charity giving.
“This event keeps getting better each year, and even though it has become a tradition to raise over $1 million, it is still so humbling to see this many Phoenicians get together to support great causes across Arizona,” said Kevin Rowe, founder of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back and managing partner of Lerner & Rowe, P.C.
This year’s event also included a formal after-party featuring craft cocktails, elevated food and live music from special guest and tribute band REFLEXX. A unique addition was a collaboration with Banner Health Foundation, one of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back’s nonprofit partners. Lerner & Rowe Gives Back recently presented a $25,000 check to support the foundation’s Mobile Health Clinic, which offers on-site services including physical exams, hearing tests, drug screenings, wellness programs and more. The Mobile Health Clinic was on-site at the tournament to connect with attendees.
“Our nonprofit partnerships go beyond simple check presentations,” said Jordan Moreno, director of charitable giving for Lerner & Rowe Gives Back. “We foster ongoing relationships with these wonderful organizations and spread the word about the amazing work they are doing within our community. Together, we break socioeconomic barriers and support our most vulnerable neighbors.”
The tournament continues to serve as a key fundraising event for Lerner & Rowe Gives Back, helping power the organization’s support for youth programs, health and human services, public safety initiatives and other community needs across Arizona.
