Humabiologics is a Phoenix-based regenerative medicine company making human biomaterials more accessible to scientists, clinicians and product developers in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, bioprinting, organoids, disease modeling and drug discovery. Our mission is to give researchers more human-relevant building blocks to develop better therapies and more predictive models of human biology. Many platforms still rely on animal materials and animal testing, even when the goal is to treat human patients. Humabiologics helps close that gap by producing native human collagen, gelatin, extracellular matrix products, bioinks and related biomaterials.

Since our founding, we have grown from an early-stage Phoenix startup into a revenue-generating company serving academic, biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device customers worldwide. Our products are used by more than 150 labs and companies in approximately 25 countries, and our portfolio has expanded to roughly 70 human-derived biomaterial products. We have also built quality and manufacturing capabilities that support research and translational development.

A meaningful sign of our impact is that our materials now support clinical-stage regenerative medicine programs, including advanced ophthalmology work where 3D-bioprinted corneal tissue is being implanted in patients with serious vision loss.

Humabiologics has also secured many issued patents covering important processes for producing human-derived collagen and gelatin biomaterials.

Bioscience is exactly the kind of sector Greater Phoenix should continue to prioritize. These are high-skill, high-wage jobs that create demand for quality manufacturing, logistics, engineering, software, professional services and healthcare infrastructure.
