The Phoenix Theatre Company’s Gala Celebrates Future of the Arts

The Phoenix Theatre Company‘s most anticipated event of the year, the 2024 Applause! Gala: Recipe for Success, exceeded all expectations, raising over $850,000 to support live theatre and outreach arts programs. Held on October 19 at The Phoenix Theatre Company campus, the event attracted some of the Valley’s most influential arts advocates for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, gourmet cuisine, celebration, and philanthropy.

Under the theme “Recipe for Success,” the gala celebrated the promising future of The Phoenix Theatre Company. The evening included an opulent cocktail reception, followed by a unique dinner crafted by MCulinary , with one-of-a-kind food stations curated by local celebrity chefs Matthew Carter, Michael DeMaria, Eddie Matney, and James Porter with desserts by Schnepf Farms. Guests were treated to unforgettable performances by some of the Theatre’s most beloved and talented artists. The night also honored Village Health Clubs, Chris Zaharis, Sara Ward, DeeDee and Ken Vecchione, and Thunderbirds Charities for their unwavering support of charities in Arizona.

Stephenson Theatre. This steadfast support enables us to continue delivering outstanding theatre to our community while cultivating the next generation of talent, and setting the stage for even more extraordinary accomplishments to come.”

The funds raised at the gala will support a wide range of The Phoenix Theatre Company’s operations, including vital community programs like the inclusive Summer Camp and the Partners That Heal outreach initiative.
