The Heard Museum is pleased to announce its reopening timeline with new policies and procedures in place based on current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Arizona State Department of Health.
The Heard Museum will reopen to Members June 2 – 7, 2020 and to the General Public on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
In order to offer a safe, comfortable and enjoyable visit for guests, the museum has implemented the following procedures:
- Museum attendance will be limited to 100 per hour, max capacity 240 visitors
- Online pre-purchase admission is strongly encouraged for all visitors, save up to $3.00 for each online ticket purchase at www.heard.org
- Face coverings and social distancing are required for staff and visitors for all indoor spaces. Disposable masks and gloves are available upon request and free of charge

- 10AM – 4PM Tuesday through Sunday
- Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Open to the Public June 9, 2020
- Tuesday – Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday – 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Members Only early entry – 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
- Closed Mondays
- Members Only Week – Tuesday June 2nd – Sunday June 7th
- Courtyard Café is temporarily closed

- Grand Procession: Contemporary Plains Indian Dolls from the Charles and Valerie Diker Collection extended through September 7, 2020
- Maria Hupfield: Nine Years Toward the Sun extended thru November 15, 2020
- Larger Than Memory: Contemporary Art from Indigenous North America Virginia G. Piper Grand Gallery Exhibition originally scheduled to open May 1, 2020 will open late Summer 2020
