In partnership with Chandler Unified School District, Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and the City of Chandler, the Chandler Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Chandler4Workforce: a quarterly collaboration between four of the city’s largest workforce development organizations.

Leadership from each group meets in-person to discuss their upcoming programs and initiatives that target skill gaps – from courses, to internships, to seminars. This will help find areas of collaboration, like the Spring 2024 job fair co-hosted by the City of Chandler and the Chandler Chamber.

The Chandler Chamber has created a workforce development survey to inform its 2025-2026 strategic goals and guide collaborative initiatives with local employers and education partners. This free 10-minute survey will be sent to members of the Chandler Chamber, but every Chandler business, regardless of membership status, can submit a response here.

“As a leader in workforce innovation, the Chandler Chamber is a proud to champion initiatives like Chandler4Workforce, Executive & Industry Roundtables, and our Business Retention & Expansion visits,” said Terri Kimble, President & CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce. “These programs allow us to listen to business needs, connect them with education partners, and create actionable strategies that build a stronger workforce ecosystem.”

Just this year, the Chandler Chamber debuted two programs aimed to address workforce development across the East Valley: (1) Chandler Young Professionals, for emerging leaders ages 21-39, and (2) an all-day small business expo, with speakers on business funding, AI, & 2025 legal trends.

“Chandler is full of talent – 95% of our residents have at least a high school diploma, which puts us well ahead of the national average. As more businesses choose Chandler, it’s more important than ever that we focus on building a strong, sustainable workforce pipeline to keep up with growing demand,” said Carly Wakefield, Vice President of Workforce Development & Government Relations of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce.

The Chandler Chamber will use the survey results to build new initiatives, so participants are encouraged to complete all questions by Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Results will be compiled and shared as a detailed report among Chandler business leaders, policymakers, and educators.

Businesses are encouraged to post their job openings on the Chandler Chamber Job Board to connect with local talent and expand their hiring pool.
