Three Valley women with deep roots in the restaurant, design, and branding industries have teamed up to change how hospitality spaces source their furniture. Introducing Social Design Supply Co., a Scottsdale-based e-commerce destination created by hospitality designers for hospitality spaces, offering design-forward, commercial-grade furnishings curated specifically for restaurants, hotels, and lifestyle concepts.

Founded by Nicole Herman, award-winning hospitality designer and owner of Social Design Studio, alongside Emily Ganem, a local restaurant owner and commercial construction executive, and Sarah Bell, a hospitality branding strategist, the trio is merging decades of Arizona design expertise to make sourcing beautiful, durable furnishings simpler and smarter.

“After years of designing restaurants across the Valley, I kept seeing the same challenge -operators with great taste struggling to find furniture that looked incredible but could actually handle the wear and tear of daily restaurant life,” says Nicole Herman, Founder and CEO of Social Design Supply Co. “We created this platform to give restaurateurs a trusted, design-driven source for furnishings that meet both aesthetic and safety standards.”

Launching with over a hundred curated products from trusted vendors, Social Design Supply Co. bridges the gap between style and substance. Prices range from $200 to $10,000, with every item selected for its balance of design, durability, and performance, helping owners create spaces that feel intentional, cohesive, and built to last.

With Herman’s Social Design Studio shaping some of the Valley’s most celebrated dining spaces, including Bourbon & Bones, Sparrow American Eatery, and Pinyon, Social Design Supply Co. builds on that foundation of creativity and craftsmanship.

“Our careers were built in Arizona’s hospitality scene, and this brand is a celebration of that community – the designers, builders, and chefs who make it special,” said Herman. “There’s something really exciting about creating a national platform that’s proudly Phoenix-born.”

The company is also partnering with local craftsmen on upcoming collaborations, including a boutique tabletop line and a custom host stand collection set to debut in Spring 2026.

Social Design Supply Co. was founded to solve a common problem: many restaurant owners rely on retail or residential furniture that doesn’t meet commercial standards, leading to faster wear, potential liability issues, and higher long-term costs.

By bringing together designers, builders, and branding experts, the team has created a curated, high-performance collection that combines Arizona creativity with hospitality know-how.

Currently operating as e-commerce only, the company plans to open a Scottsdale showroom in the near future.
