Study reveals that Arizona has shown the third-most interest in startup events in the United States. The research by the live event registration & management software company In The Room analyzed startup event data via Eventbrite, calculating upcoming startup events per million residents to identify the states where Americans show the highest interest in entrepreneurial pursuits.
Arizona ranks third, with 26 startup events per million residents, 139.4% above the national average of 10.86. The Grand Canyon State, with a population of 7,691,740, will host 200 upcoming startup events.
Looking at the study, a spokesperson at In The Room Live commented:
“The study highlights that Arizona is the third-most committed to building entrepreneurial communities and startup culture.
“These high rates of startup event concentration demonstrate that Americans in these states are prioritizing business development, networking opportunities, and entrepreneurial education. Such engagement often leads to increased innovation, job creation, and economic growth. Given the prevalence of these events, supporting startup ecosystems requires continued attention.
“State leaders and policymakers can encourage this trend by supporting local incubators, co-working spaces, and entrepreneurial education programs. Additionally, recognizing the economic impact of the startup and innovation industries could help foster continued growth in these sectors across all states.”
