Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB) is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer, Patty Beckman. With a wealth of experience in financial management and a proven track record of success in the nonprofit sector, Beckman is set to play a pivotal role in the continued growth and impact of BBB.
“We are excited to welcome Patty Beckman to our team. BBB strives to create an environment where individuals thrive, and our employees are passionate about contributing to our shared success, and Patty was the ideal complement to this vision. Her financial stewardship will play a pivotal role in steering the BBB mission forward, including both enhancing existing and launching new community focused initiatives. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of transparency and accountability, and Patty’s expertise is essential in helping us continue to foster ethical business growth within our community,” shares Matthew Fehling, President/CEO of BBB Pacific Southwest.
Beckman has over 25 years of successful finance experience in healthcare services, manufacturing, investment banking and education. Most recently, she held the role of National Finance Business Partner for Mosaic, a large nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities.
Beyond her finance career, Patty is passionate about giving back to the community. She has served as a Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board Member and President, taught non-credit finance classes at Scottsdale Community College, Co-Chaired the “Women’s Health and Wealth Symposium” with Scottsdale Healthcare, and served on the board of a local youth theater. Currently, she is a proud member of the Scottsdale Charros Foundation.
Beckman attended Arizona State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. This fall, Beckman and her husband Shawn, became “empty nesters” as their twin daughters began their college journeys in San Diego and New York.
Beckman has called Paradise Valley her home for over 20 years and often enjoys an early morning run and taking in the incomparable Arizona sunrise.
With Beckman at the financial helm, BBB is poised to further its work within the nonprofit sector, ensuring that resources are optimally allocated to support its core mission, deliver on its promises, and maintain the trust of all stakeholders.
