PHX Beer Co. is teaming up with The Nile Theater to craft a distinctive can design honoring the iconic music venue’s remarkable 100-year legacy that will be available on May 1. This specialty can will be filled with one of PHX Beer Co.’s signature refreshing Lagers.

The unique artwork on the canned beverage will pay homage to the rich history of the Nile Theater, infusing elements of the theater’s vibrant music culture with nostalgic and celebratory elements.

“We crafted a timeless yet familiar look for this commemorative design, drawing inspiration from vintage beer can art of the 1950s and 60s,” said Christian Houda, marketing director at PHX Beer Co. “By incorporating the Nile 100 Year logo prominently, we ventured to incorporate multiple design cues.”

Wings are also integrated into the artwork to symbolize PHX Beer Co.’s collaboration in the project, as well as the Nile Theater Marquee’s original Egyptian-themed design.

Established in 1924, the Nile Theater stands proudly as a cherished Mesa landmark, steeped in rich history. Over the years, it has transformed, serving as a movie theater, a church, a rock night club and a coffee shop. Today, it stands anew as a concert venue, continuing to captivate audiences with its timeless charm.

“We are so excited to be collaborating with PHX Beer Co.,” said Michelle Donovan, Owner of the Nile Theatre. “It is a honor to celebrate this milestone with another local business that represents Arizona so well.

The special edition can will be released and available to the public on Wednesday, May 1, exclusively at the Nile Theatre.
