UMB Bank, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation announced a total donation of $300,000 to support three nonprofit organizations serving the Phoenix community. This is part of UMB’s annual corporate charitable donations that support a range of nonprofit organizations across its national footprint. To date, UMB has donated $6.4 million in 2025.
“We’re building something special in Arizona, and it’s made possible by the remarkable people who live and work here,” said John Damiris, Phoenix market president at UMB Bank. “We are honored to support this growing community by investing in organizations that make our region stronger and create opportunities for the individuals and families they serve.”
Recipient nonprofit organizations were selected based on needs, collaboration opportunities and alignment with UMB’s approach to serving communities across its footprint, including a focus on arts, agriculture, financial education and self-sufficiency. The organizations receiving donations are:
- Brophy College Preparatory offers a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum along with vibrant arts and co-curricular programs rooted in a mission dedicated to service and allowing every student to grow, flourish and lead.
- Great Hearts Academies is a provider of classical education and is dedicated to serving families in the formation of their children from kindergarten through high school.
- School Choice Arizona has been providing tax credit scholarships to Arizona’s low-income students for nearly 20 years. Without these scholarships, many families would not benefit from a private K-12 education.
