Every community has its quiet heroes: the teacher who stays late, the business owner who shows up for every fundraiser, the first responder who puts others first. On Thursday, May 28, Chandler gave them the spotlight they deserve. Hundreds of community leaders, educators, business professionals and supporters came together for the 39th Annual Chandler Chamber Community Awards, hosted and presented by Gila River Resorts and Casinos. True to this year’s Denim and Diamonds theme, guests traded their usual business attire for a little sparkle and a lot of celebration.
The real shine, however, came from the honorees. From classrooms and fire stations to storefronts and nonprofits, this year’s winners represent the many ways people make Chandler a better place to live, work and grow. Their dedication and service continue to strengthen our community and inspire future generations. The evening also looked ahead, as three students received scholarships to support their next chapter. It was a night that celebrated both what these individuals and organizations have accomplished and the lasting impact they will continue to have for years to come.
