Tempe-based Huss Brewing Co. is partnering with Arizona State University to serve as the Official Craft Beer for all Sun Devil Athletics for the 2025-2026 season and beyond. Before the fall season gets underway, Sun Devil fans can savor a new Sun Angel Collective Huss brew beginning this month, as Huss has handcrafted an all-new Devil’s Halo Amber Ale to serve at all Sun Devil spring sporting events. Proceeds will benefit the Sun Angel Collective and its efforts to support ASU student-athletes.
The Sun Angel Collective raises funds and creates opportunities related to Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights, with the aim to support and empower student-athletes at ASU. The organization provides resources and assistance to student-athletes that allows them to leverage their personal brands and ultimately profit from endorsement deals, sponsorships and other NIL opportunities.
Huss’ Devil’s Halo Amber Ale was brewed up after many months of testing and tasting right here in Tempe. Led by Huss Brewmaster Jeff Huss, this quenching craft ale features notes of caramel and a bold malt backbone leading to a well-balanced finish. Devil’s Halo Amber will be offered at all Sun Devil spring sports venues, select retail locations, and on draft at bars and restaurants starting later this month. Including Sun Devil Athletics partner Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, with more locations coming soon.
And in time for Sun Devil football season to kickoff this fall, Huss will be opening a dedicated craft beer taproom inside Mountain America Stadium — the Huss Hideout — plus brewing up Devil’s Halo Lager, which will be offered at all Sun Devil athletics events, as well as retail stores and bars Valley-wide beginning in May.

Serving as Sun Devil Athletics’ official craft beer, Devil’s Halo Lager will be here just in time for the devilish days of Arizona summer. At 4.8% ABV, Devil’s Halo Lager is crisp, easy-drinking and made to fuel the Sun Devil spirit all season long.
