Commit Agency proudly announces its exceptional achievement of securing the third position in the Western United States—and eighth nationally—in Ad Age’s Best Places to Work 2024, ranking among companies from across the country with fewer than 200 employees. Commit Agency is the only Arizona-based company to receive this accolade from Ad Age, one of the largest and most reputable marketing publications in the world.
“This acknowledgment from Ad Age is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the incredible commitment and passion our team brings to their work every day,” said David Ralls, co-founder and president of Commit Agency. “We believe operating on our company pillars of being meaningful, collaborative, vibrant and forward-thinking is the foundation for delivering outstanding results for our clients, and this recognition reinforces our commitment to maintaining a workplace culture that fosters creativity and growth.”
This is the second consecutive year that Commit Agency has been honored by Ad Age as a best place to work.
The 2024 Best Places to Work list was revealed on Jan. 22, honoring 50 companies across the United States that did a standout job over the past year as the ad business met with the challenges of an unsettled economy, a changing media market and a continued tight talent pool.
“The 2024 Best Places to Work winners demonstrate the value of giving employees competitive pay and benefits and designing optimal workplace practices to ensure great talent can do its best work,” said Dan Peres, president and editor-in-chief of Ad Age. “Companies will face more challenges in the new year against an uncertain economy, but winning workplaces know that taking care of employees drives business success.”
Commit Agency has been nominated and recognized as one of the Valley’s Best Places to Work for several years in multiple forums, highlighting the agency’s unlimited PTO policy (available after one year of employment), collaborative environment and regular team-building events and outings. Leadership also takes an active role in job development, mentoring opportunities and other internal efforts to ensure every member of the team feels empowered, supported and productive.
While Commit’s Chandler-based office is home base for most of its employees, Digital Director Meredith Schrom still feels a strong sense of connection with the agency’s members and values despite working over 800 miles away in Fort Collins, Colorado.
“Being recognized as one of Ad Age’s Best Places to Work is a testament to the vibrant, nurturing culture at Commit Agency,” said Schrom. “My transition from the account team to the digital marketing team was supported by leadership members who truly believe in each individual’s growth. I’m proud to have called Commit my professional home for almost a decade.”
While Schrom started out as an account manager within the company in 2014, she later realized her strengths lay with the digital side of marketing and garnered full support from the agency leadership to adjust her career trajectory.
The Best Places to Work competition was open to agencies, ad tech firms, data and research firms, brand or corporate marketing departments or groups and in-house agencies of marketers. The winners reflect the highest overall numerical scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from their employees.
