Valley Metro is looking for local talent to be our next Artsline Spotlight Artist. One artist (or team) per season (Fall 2022 and Spring 2023) will be selected with each artist (or team) being paid a $2500 honorarium. Each artist will create an original work(s) that will be featured on the large-scale wall at Roosevelt Ave/Central station. Selected artists are responsible for providing professionally scanned or digitized original artwork. Artist will be asked to sign a contract that outlines terms and conditions.
Eligibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age and resident of Arizona for at least two years.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the program requirements with the capacity and capabilities to fulfill according to the dates established.
- Artists must be registered as an Artlink Articipant. It is free to sign up as a working artist. Find the registration form at artlinkphx.org.
- This call is open to the public including artist teams. There is no fee to enter.

- Call Issued: Monday, May 2, 2022
- Submissions Due: Tuesday, May 31, 2022, by 5 p.m. (local AZ time)
- Selected Artists Notified: Before Friday, July 1, 2022
