SBA Arizona District Office Accepting Applications for 2021 Emerging Leaders Initiative

U.S. Small Business Administration - Arizona

This intensive executive-level series is intended to accelerate the growth of high-potential small businesses in America’s underserved cities. The comprehensive curriculum includes 100+ hours of professional specialized training and peer-to-peer counseling to provide business owners with the tools they need to catapult their company to the next level and become a force for positive change in their communities.

NOTE: This training is for established business owners and is not for start-ups or those who are thinking about starting a business.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Have annual revenues of at least $250,000.
  • Have been in business for at least 3 years.
  • Have at least one employee, other than self (participant must be CEO, COO, CFO, Owner, or President and be key decision maker).
  • A demonstrated commitment, professionalism, and readiness to take one’s venture to a new level of success.
  • A computer, web cam and reliable Internet access is applicable as the course is expected to be online.

Applications must be received by March 15, 2021. Business owners meeting the eligibility requirements will be contacted for an interview. The start date for this cohort is scheduled for April (date TBD). Classes will be held virtually. The only cost for this program is your time and commitment to complete the curriculum over the course of 7 months. More here.
