Phoenix-based Mission Facilitators awarded Christine Whitney Sanchez their 2024 Excellence in Leadership Award. The goal of the award is to give back to a person who has significantly impacted Phoenix companies, employees, and communities.
As the pace of change accelerates with technology at the forefront, the human side of an organization must evolve in harmony with these advancements. This is where a Chief Culture Officer (CCO) becomes invaluable. Mission Facilitators recognized this by awarding Christine Whitney Sanchez, Chief Culture Officer at Arizona State University’s Enterprise Technology office, the 2024 Excellence in Leadership Award. During her tenure at ASU, she has cultivated a culture of adaptability, collaboration, and continuous growth, ensuring that people and technology work together to drive long-term success and resilience.
“Christine’s influence on our organizational culture has been foundational and of enormous importance. Her contributions will have a lasting impact as we continue our commitment to creating and maintaining a thriving, values-led culture,” said Lev Gonick, Chief Information Officer, ASU Public Enterprise.
Dean Newlund, CEO of Mission Facilitators, said: “Christine led a significant movement at ASU to blend individual development, leadership, inclusivity, culture, community, and technology. But her influence has been felt in many other organizations, locally, nationally, and internationally. This is why we honor this culture change leader with our annual award.”
Newlund interviewed Christine on the topic of cultural and technological transformation on the Leadovation podcast.
