Rob Caylor Is New President of AZ Builders’ Alliance

The Arizona Builders’ Alliance, a statewide construction trade association formed as an alliance of the Associated Builders & Contractors and the Associated General Contractors welcomed Rob Caylor as the 2014 ABA President.  Rob Caylor, president of Robert Caylor Construction Company since 1999, has been in the commercial building industry since 1981. As a native Tucsonan he has always been an active member of the community. He has served as director of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association, been a member of Building Owners and Managers Association  and has served on the board of directors for Tucson Country Club. He has been an active member on the ABA’s board of directors since 2008 and a member of the ABA since 2003.

Caylor had the following to say about the upcoming year and the association:

“Welcome to the greatest Contractors Association in the world! I say that because of the commitment from our members that make it simply the best. We are the ABA.
I want to personally thank Lorraine Bergman for her commitment to the association and her tireless efforts as president this past year. Her commitment and dedication is second to none.

“Our board of directors has worked hard on our comprehensive strategic plan. We reviewed our strengths and weaknesses,  challenged our thinking, and recommended actions. This document will guide us moving forward.  We  are laser focused.

“As we gaze into the future, we look to engage our membership involvement, improve our communication, strengthen our apprenticeship program, foster young leaders, build brand awareness, pursue and promote a stronger influence in our industry. Staff is well equipped with the resources to help and promote your business. I welcome this new year with enthusiasm for the opportunity to lead our membership to sustain a healthy, profitable and rewarding career in the construction industry!”

The ABA exists for the purpose of advancing the productivity and profitability of our members and the construction industry.   Celebrating its 20^th year in 2014, the ABA is proud to service the construction industry through advocacy, education, and networking opportunities in the state of Arizona.
