Restaurant Fundraises to Help Local Nonprofits

PHX Beer Co.

Every industry is feeling the impact of COVID-19. Two industries feeling the heat include restaurants and those organizations that lost an entire fundraising season to a pandemic. But where there is loss there is also innovation and adaptability.

Local restaurant and brewery PHX Beer Co. recently launched its touchless “Dough Raiser” program to raise some dough for those local organizations who need it most. The restaurant creates a digital flier that the organization will send to those who want to support them.

“We do provide the PDF so that our non-profit partner can email and print it,” said Director of Hospitality Operations Rich Stark.

Those who have the flier are then invited to participate in the promotion on a specific day by clicking on the link in the flier that will allow them to pre-order online for curbside at the Scottsdale restaurant location at 8300 N. Hayden Rd.

When they pick up their food, supporters simply show the flier and the organization will receive 20% of the sale of the food and drink order purchased. The campaign is open to those who are 501(3)c nonprofits.
