The North Scottsdale Business Connections Chapter of AmSpirit Business Connections chose to adopt a family this year and we looked to the USO to see if they knew of someone in need. Tara Mogan the director of the USO provided us with Corporal Yancy Green. Green, a Marine who served in Iraq and Afghanistan,is part of the Wounded Warrior Project.
On Wednesday, November 26, Joe DeMarco and Shirley Quick went to the USO Center at Sky Harbor to meet with Yancy and his wife, Tiffany. They were presented with a $300 Visa Gift Card from the members of the AmSpirit Chapter.
The AmSpirit group was pleased to be able to help and will continue to collect donations for Toys for Tots and St. Mary’s Food Bank as they have in previous years.
AmSpirit Business Connections is a national organization that assists sales representatives, entrepreneurs and professionals to succeed by creating a forum where they can exchange qualified referrals with other sales representatives, entrepreneurs and professionals. There are currently three chapters here in theValley, with more being added to serve more communities.
