New Virtual Certificate Program Gives Owners and Workers Confidence in CDC Guidelines

by Edgar R. Olivo

As reopening across America is underway, many businesses are left wondering if they are doing enough to follow CDC guidelines to keep their workers and customers safe while making a profit. This is one of the many challenges small businesses will have to overcome soon to regain confidence in the marketplace, especially as we see spikes in COVID-19 cases and worries of a second wave.

The CDC has published guidelines and decision tools to safely reopen for just about every type of public space, including retailers, barbershops, restaurants and entertainment facilities.

The Compass CBS Foundation brings you the Reopen with Confidence Program, a FREE bilingual virtual certificate program to help owners, managers and employees who wish to learn about cleaning and disinfecting public spaces, workplaces, businesses, schools and homes.

This FREE virtual training program provides the best resources and guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting public spaces from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as described in the United States Government plans to Reopen America.

After taking this free virtual course on cleaning and disinfecting a public place, participants will have clear guidance on how to develop a safety plan, so they can confidently reopen their public space while keeping their workers and customers safe from COVID-19.

Participants will also earn a Certificate of Completion to proudly display at their location or add to their resume. The certificate will be valid for one year and participants will need to renew by taking the course again. The program is offered in English and Spanish.

Please join this FREE program to earn your certificate and safely reopen with confidence!

Participants may enroll at www.reopensafely.org.
