Jewish National Fund has announced Deb Rochford is the new Desert States Executive Director for Jewish National Fund. She will be working with the Las Vegas and Arizona communities, connecting with individuals, organizations, and community leaders who share Jewish National Fund’s passion and goals.
“Deb’s dedication, and commitment to the Jewish people and Israel shines through all her meetings and appointments,” said Diane Scar, JNF’s national campaign director. “We are so excited to have her bring her energy to the Las Vegas community as well.”
Rochford began working at Jewish National Fund in 2012. The scope of her responsibilities quickly grew as she went from Arizona Associate Director to Arizona Regional Director and now Desert States Executive Director in a short span of time. Her passion for Israel shows through her dedicated work as she continues to make Jewish National Fund one of the top organizations in her region.
In her new position, Rochford will continue to serve as the executive director for Arizona but will start working with Sha’ron Wolfin Eden, JNF Las Vegas director, to expand JNF’s efforts in the Las Vegas community.
“I am thrilled to be working in the Las Vegas region to expand the presence of the Jewish National Fund,” said Rochford. JNF, a registered 501(c)(3) organization and United Nations NGO that continuously earns top ratings from charity overseers, strives to bring an enhanced quality of life to all of Israel’s residents, and translate these advancements to the world beyond. JNF is greening the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques, and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.
