Global Chamber® Awarded Phoenix Export Champion of the Year

Global Chamber June 22, 2015

AchievementsGlobal Chamber®, an organization dedicated to engaging leaders, companies and communities in more successful cross-border trade and investment, has been selected as the 2015 “Export Champion of the Year” by the City of Phoenix at the inaugural “Mayor’s Export Awards”.

Global Chamber® works tirelessly to help exporters be more successful with their cross border growth, more quickly,” said Hank Marshall, economic development executive officer with the City of Phoenix. “We’re pleased to recognize their global skills, collaboration and connecting capabilities, to help companies grow across the world.”

“Today we recognize Global Chamber® for supporting companies in their transition from being ‘export curious’ to ‘export serious’,” said Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton.

The prestigious award was presented to Global Chamber® by Mayor Greg Stanton at this year’s 16th annual Global Links Business Outlook Luncheon hosted by Phoenix Sister Cities on June 17th. Global Chamber® was recognized for closing the resource gap that organizations face when expanding globally by providing key services and support for its members, sponsors and partners around the world.

“This is an extra special honor because of the global business progress Mayor Stanton and his team are making,” said Doug Bruhnke, CEO and founder of Global Chamber®. “Global Chamber is a growing network of 500 metros around the world, headquartered in Metro Phoenix, supporting companies growing across borders.”

The world’s first collaborative “global” chamber of commerce offers member access to resources such as in-person and virtual international business events, an online global career center, mentoring, consulting, trusted connections, training, video content and more. Global business happens faster and with less risk when businesses have support and are doing business with people they know, like and trust.

Also receiving awards from Mayor Stanton were EXOS for “Service Exporter of the Year”, APS BioGroup for “Product Exporter of the Year”, Arizona Commerce Authority for “Export Service Provider of the Year” (Public Sector) and JPMORGAN Chase for “Export Service Provider of the Year” (Private Sector).
