Exact, a leading global provider of ERP business software solutions for small to medium-sized businesses (SMB), believes in giving back to community. This week during its annual partner conference Exact Macola Edge 2014 in Scottsdale, Ariz., Exact employees and business partners took part in a service project building wagons to benefit children at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
“On behalf of Phoenix Children’s Hospital, we would like to thank Exact Macola for the much-needed wagon donation,” said Dusty Covelli, community outreach coordinator at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. “We try to do everything we can to help our patients heal and help them be kids, too. One of the ways is by using Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagons to help get our patients around the hospital. It’s great for our littlest patients who are often too small for wheelchairs, and it’s just plain fun for all the patients.”
Alison Forsythe, managing director of Exact Macola, has made it a priority to be involved in the communities where the company holds events. Forsythe, along with many of the Exact partners, contributed funds to supply stuffed animals for the kids in addition to the wagons.
Two Arizona-based Exact Macola business partners volunteered their time to deliver the wagons: Jeff Sachs, president at Tempe-based Alembic Computer Services, and Patrick Reiser, CEO at Chandler-based Business Computer Technologies, Inc.
“Business Computer Technologies, Inc., is happy to be involved with bringing happiness into children’s lives and to be associated with outstanding people at Phoenix Children’s Hospital,” said Reiser. “BCT, Inc. has been a member of the Exact Software family for more than 30 years and we are pleased to partner with them for this local community event.”
