In the spirit of the holiday season, family-owned P.B. Bell, a premier, locally owned and operated multifamily development, management and acquisition company, headquartered in Scottsdale, donated nearly $7,000 to a more-than-deserving nonprofit organization. The large check was presented at P. B. Bell’s holiday luncheon, where The Singletons, who provide support for single-parent families with cancer, were honored as the selected charity of the year.
Since 2006, The Singletons home has aided more than 300 single parents diagnosed with cancer and receiving active chemotherapy, along with their 1000+ children. The Singletons is a unique organization that supplies day-to-day needs that most people take for granted, as well as providing emotional and financial stress relief for parenting families battling cancer.
Executive Director and Founder of the nonprofit, Jody Farley, says, “There are no words to express my joy. I was genuinely blown away by the over-the-top raffle baskets that were clearly put together with a lot of care. Having been chosen as this year’s charity of choice was a sincere blessing.”
The donation from P. B. Bell will be used to strengthen The Singletons’ relief program and aid families in need. $7,000 will enable the organization to restock 25 homes with basic household necessities, pay 30 electric bills and provide 100 family-style meals to its “Singleton Village.”
