CCG Catalyst, a bank consulting firm providing strategic direction for banks, has named Ali Raza as a principal and payments leader, where he will work with clients on their strategy, business and operating issues.
In this role, Raza will leverage his deep subject-matter expertise in retail banking, card issuing, merchant acquiring and emerging payments to drive strategy-to-execution, high-performance solutions for banks and other financial services industry constituents. At CCG Catalyst, his primary focus will be on assisting clients with their growth, revenue and profitability initiatives as well as market planning and product innovation. Additionally, he will help clients prioritize investments in mobile, digital and emerging financial technology categories, support business transformation efforts and address disruption challenges.
Raza brings to CCG Catalyst high-impact international experience from a Big Four firm, Boutique consultancy and industry. He has spearheaded successful collaborations with teams and clients in more than 20 countries to grow market share, increase revenue and profitability, enhance operating performance and improve shareholder value. In addition to the U.S., he has worked extensively with major banks, investments firms, networks and processors in Canada and Latin America.

Raza is active in the banking and payments community and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). He is a member of the Steering Committee, FinTech Society and Board member of the Corporate Development Society. He also serves as an Advisory Board member for various payments startups. He earned a BA in Economics from Reed College.
