AFS Technologies, the leading provider of software solutions for the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, has appointed Chris Rice as senior vice president of Industry Strategy. In this role, he will provide strategic consulting to ensure CPG companies are equipped to optimize the benefits of a fully integrated software solution suite in order to capitalize on growth opportunities and increase revenue. In addition, he will guide the strategic development and direction for the AFS Sales Solution Suite, comprised of functionality for trade promotion management and optimization and retail execution.

A CPG industry veteran with more than 28 years of experience, Rice has worked with many CPG industry leaders such as Kraft, Nestle, Unilever, Del Monte, Miller Brewing and Dannon. Rice gained his experience while working for the Quaker Oats Company, CAS, Information Resources Inc. and IBM DemandTec. He has extensive expertise in the areas of Trade Promotion Management, predictive customer planning, strategic trade and marketing planning, retail execution and shopper insights. Rice is a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
