Plexus Worldwide, a leading global health and wellness company, was honored with a Bronze Stevie Award in the Employee Giving & Volunteerism category by the American Business Awards. This category is new for 2024 and recognizes organizations that have held events and experiences that actively involve their employees in charity initiatives, volunteerism and employee giving.
“We’re delighted to share this recognition with our corporate team, Brand Ambassadors, and customers who join us in making a difference in the community,” said Alec Clark, President and Co-Founder “Being recognized for the impact we’ve made through our philanthropic initiatives takes the hard work and passion of many, and it’s an honor to have that dedication recognized by the American Business Awards.”
In 2023, Plexus reached several monumental philanthropic milestones – donating over $1 million in monetary and in-kind donations to nonprofits globally and providing over 2,000 hours of volunteer time. The company’s Nourish One® campaign, which supports families experiencing food insecurity, also made a large impact last year, donating 4.1 million meals* in partnership with organizations Feeding America® and Mary’s Meals.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, large and small.
More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories and more than 300 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
*Every Plexus Lean sold contributes a donation equal to 10 meals and every Plexus Reset sold contributes a donation equivalent to three meals to Feeding America® helping to provide at least 5 million meals annually. One dollar helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local partner food banks.
