The Arizona Diamondbacks are teaming up with Fry’s Food Stores on a free vaccine clinic at Chase Field May 6-8. The team offered appointments to Season Ticket holders and spots are now open to the public.
“We are so grateful to our partners for helping vaccinate so many Arizonans, including thousands of D-backs fans,” said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. “We want to play a role in ensuring that anyone who wants a vaccination is able to get one so that we can continue to get back to our normal lives as soon as possible.”
The clinic will take place in the Third Base Lounge on May 6 (12-6:30 p.m.), May 7 (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) and May 8 (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). Appointments must be made at frysfood.com/covidcare and search zip code 85004 to find the Chase Field event.
“Our highest priority throughout the pandemic has been to keep the community and our associates safe,” said Fry’s Food Stores President Monica Garnes. “This partnership with the D-backs to deliver vaccines is just one more way both organizations are demonstrating our commitment to the community.”
The vaccine offered at this clinic is Moderna and is available to those 18 years and older. The second dose appointment will be scheduled at the time of the first dose appointment booking.
Throughout the pandemic, the D-backs have sought to play a critical role in the community’s recovery, hosting a blood drive at Chase Field and donating more than $2 million to those in need, including a $1 million commitment to continue to pay gameday staff in 2020.
