Launching in July 2026, Riovie is a telehealth company creating a more connected path to better health. Through Riovie, individuals can connect with licensed healthcare providers for weight management, hormone optimization, gut health, metabolic peptide programs, and comprehensive laboratory testing.
But what Lewis discovered during her own health journey changed the direction of her life.
“After I lost part of my vision, I found myself on the other side of health—not as the coach, but as the patient,” Lewis said. “As I searched for answers, I realized something was missing. People deserved more than access to programs. They deserved to understand their bodies. I didn’t want to build another telehealth company. I wanted to build the health journey I wished had existed when I became the patient.”
That realization became the foundation of Riovie. Every program is intentionally paired with evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle guides because Riovie believes medication without education is a missed opportunity. Through Riovie.org, the company extends that mission with approachable wellness education and science explained in a way that’s practical, understandable, and empowering.
“The deeper I looked, the more I realized everything really is connected,” Lewis said. “Nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, hormones, gut health, relationships, even our mindset—they all influence how we feel. When people understand those connections, they can make better decisions and become active participants in their own health journey.”
Riovie is also the story of a husband-and-wife team. When Nicola shared her vision for a different kind of telehealth company with her husband, James Lewis, he immediately believed in what it could become. Together, they founded Riovie, combining Nicola’s vision for a more connected health journey with James’ leadership in technology and operations.
Today, Nicola serves as Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, leading the company’s vision, educational philosophy, and patient experience. James serves as Co-Founder & Chief Executive Operations Officer, building the technology, systems, and operational infrastructure behind Riovie while leveraging emerging AI technologies to bring Nicola’s vision to life.
“Riovie began with a vision God placed on my heart,” Lewis said. “I brought that vision to James, and without hesitation he believed in it. While I focused on creating the health journey I wished had existed when I became the patient, James quietly went to work building the technology and operational foundation that would bring that vision to life. Riovie exists because we each brought different strengths to the table, and together we’ve built something we truly hope changes the way people experience their health journey.”
While Riovie launches with programs focused on weight management, hormone optimization, gut health, metabolic peptide programs, and comprehensive laboratory testing, Lewis sees those offerings as only the beginning.
“We’re building a connected health ecosystem,” she said. “Our goal isn’t simply to help people access programs. It’s to help them understand their bodies. I want every person who comes to Riovie to leave understanding their body better than when they arrived.”
For Lewis, Riovie is ultimately about hope.
“My faith carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life,” she said. “When I couldn’t see what the future looked like, I trusted God to give me enough light for the next faithful step. Riovie wasn’t born from certainty. It was born from faithfulness to the next step. My prayer is that when people come to Riovie, they find more than a program. I hope they find understanding, support, and hope—because no matter what someone is facing today, I believe there is always a path forward.”
