Virtual Fitness and Wellness Studio Launches in Scottsdale

HUSTLE House

A new virtual on-demand fitness and wellness studio, Hustle House, has launched in Scottsdale offering online workouts and wellness classes from local Arizona instructors. The virtual concept was launched as a way for both members and instructors to stay safe during the pandemic while building a local community of likeminded fitness enthusiasts.

The 24/7 on-demand platform allows members to curate their classes based on their schedule, interests, and favorite instructors. Classes available include dance cardio, barre, cycle, yoga, strength-based workouts and more. There are also wellness sessions available which include breathwork, an active meditation fueled by a consistent, conscious breathing and stretch classes, to help members release tension in their bodies.

HUSTLE House was founded by Juliana Blazuk, who spent 15 years in the advertising industry in New York City, working for companies like Nickelodeon Kids & Family and Snapchat before moving to Scottsdale in late 2019. Blazuk is also a certified yoga teacher and was in the process of opening HUSTLE House as an indoor running studio when COVID-19 hit last spring.  She pivoted her business model from an in-person studio to a film studio in July 2020.

“When the pandemic first hit, I wanted to help my friends, family and students keep up good habits for their mental and physical health. So, I started teaching virtually from home in my backyard and constantly ran into trouble with connectivity, delayed audio and poor video quality,” said Blazuk. “After talking to other local instructors, I realized a lot of us were in the same boat and were looking for a reliable space to connect with our students virtually while producing high-quality classes. HUSTLE House has created such an amazing community for local instructors and students to safely connect with each other when they want, where they want.”

HUSTLE House currently offers classes from 15 different instructors who come from top fitness studios in the Valley.  Excellence in your craft is one of HUSTLE House’s core values, and each instructor holds certifications and/or has a long tenure of teaching under their belts.

“I have been a yoga teacher since 2008, but I’ve never taught virtually until HUSTLE House”, says HUSTLE House instructor, Morgan Duval. “I decided to go virtual this year partially because of COVID, and partially because my practice as a Physical Therapist was growing rapidly and becoming very busy! With HUSTLE House, I can teach on my own schedule and film classes when I have the time (sometimes late at night after dark!). I can share my love of yoga with my community even if we can’t be in the same physical space. I am so grateful that I found HUSTLE House and that Juliana is holding the space for so many local yoga and fitness teachers, so that we can hold the space for our students and continue to connect and grow together online!”

The platform hosts a free live class a few times a month which supports nonprofit organizations such as Loveland, AZ Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, Equal Justice Initiative and Brain & Behavior Research Foundation. Instructors can choose the organization they’d like to support during the live class and proceeds from the event benefit the nonprofit of their choice.

“HUSTLE House is an innovative and dynamic platform that has helped hold me accountable for not only staying on track with my fitness goals but also for ensuring that I prioritize self-care during this pandemic” said HUSTLE House member, Melinda Splitek. “HUSTLE House is one of the silver linings to come out of the last year, and I am immensely grateful for the positive impact it has had on my life. This community of hustlers is inspiring.”

Blazuk has plans to expand HUSTLE House within the next year and transform the concept into a co-working space and community event space for fitness professionals and entrepreneurs.

HUSTLE House offers a seven-day free trial to all interested members across the U.S. After the free trial, the subscriptions is $19.99 per month or $199 per year.
