In its eighth annual shred-a-thon, ProShred Arizona raised close to $4,000 and 582 pounds of food for the Foothills Food Bank in Cave Creek. The shred-a-thon offered residents the opportunity to dispose of unwanted documents safely and securely in exchange for a monetary or food donation. Almost six tons of paper was shredded during the three-hour event, which was then sent to a recycling station.
