Muscular Moving Men & Storage and its sister division, M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics, are proud to announce the hiring of an on-staff personal trainer to assist employees and incentivize partnerships in their fitness goals in 2021. This makes Muscular Moving Men & Storage and its M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics department the only moving company in the world with a staff personal trainer.
Owners Justin Hodge and Josh Jurhill selected personal trainer Lex Hollenbeck to start 2021 off on the right foot for Muscular Moving Men & Storage staff and partners. Hollenbeck is the owner of FFConditioning, a mobile personal training company in Scottsdale, and holds a master’s in science exercise and wellness from Arizona State University. In his time at ASU, Hollenbeck spent a year assisting with ASU athlete sports performance – training, programming and coaching D1 and Olympic athletes.
“Moving is an exceptionally physically demanding job,” Hollenbeck said. “Our movers are lifting, pulling and maneuvering hundreds of pounds each day. My goal is to train Muscular Moving Men and M3 Commercial Moving staff to live up to its name by increasing strength to prevent injury and expand job satisfaction.”
Hollenbeck will train employees and Muscular Moving Men & Storage partners in the company’s warehouse gym, which was renovated in 2019 when Muscular Moving Men became the first moving company in the world to partner with Nike and BSN Sports. Hollenbeck will use the Nike and BSN Sports-branded equipment to host socially distant group fitness and personal training sessions.
Fitness has long been at the core of the Muscular Moving Men & Storage business model. CEO Josh Jurhill is a former Mr. Natural Arizona, a natural bodybuilding competition, and staff regularly participates in fitness challenges to strengthen the team, mentally and physically. Staff is currently participating in a bench press challenge and physique competition, led by Hollenbeck. There will also be opportunities for clients and partners of the business to participate alongside staff.
“Being part of the Muscular Moving Men team is about so much more than just looking the part,” said Justin Hodge, President. “We believe that fitness can improve all areas of our staff’s life, from mental wellness to meeting the physical demands of the job. We are excited to have Lex on staff to bring his expertise to our ever-growing team.”
Last year was historic for Muscular Moving Men & Storage. In 2020 the company moved more businesses and families than ever before and launched M3 Junk Removal, its junk removal division. To meet ongoing demand in 2021, the company is looking to hire 20 mover-athletes to join its team.
Muscular Moving Men & Storage was founded in 2008 when best friends and founders Hodge and Jurhill began moving customers with just one trailer and their own muscles. With a focus on the core values of quality, financial efficiency, respect, advancement, culture and customer experience, Muscular Moving Men has become the top name in moving in the Valley. Hodge and Muscular Moving Men have frequently landed on Arizona State University’s Sun Devil 100 list, landing No. 28 of 100 in growth of ASU alumni-owned businesses in 2020.
Founded in Phoenix in 2008, Muscular Moving Men & Storage is a full-service moving and storage company established by Justin Hodge and Josh Jurhill on one simple philosophy: provide amazing moving service and great customer care at a competitive price. The energetic young company quickly rose to prominence thanks to its team of fit, friendly and efficient movers that work hard to treat every customer like a VIP.
M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics was launched in 2019 to keep up with demand for specialty commercial moving needs. They are one of the only “Commercial Only” moving companies that exists in Arizona.
