45 North Flight will launch on-demand Daher TBM charter service from Scottsdale Airport in early October 2026. The service will be operated by 45 North Flight under FAA Air Carrier Certificate 9CCA698M.
Little Hawk Logistics LLC will support the launch as the owner of the aircraft and as an air charter broker responsible for marketing and arranging charter flights. The primary aircraft serving Scottsdale will be N910VM, a 2017 Daher TBM 910 owned by Little Hawk and operated by 45 North Flight.
45 North Flight is the direct air carrier and will maintain sole operational control of every flight, including flight authorization, crewmember assignment, aircraft airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
The Scottsdale launch combines 45 North Flight’s Part 135 operating capabilities with Little Hawk’s experience developing charter business around the Daher TBM. It also introduces the aircraft to a market well suited to the TBM’s speed, range and ability to serve smaller airports.

Scottsdale Airport is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the United States and provides convenient access to the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The City of Scottsdale’s airport master plan forecasts annual charter passenger growth of 8.8 percent, approximately three times the projected growth rate for total airport operations.
The location also places many of the Southwest’s most popular business and leisure destinations within approximately two hours of flight time.
Approximate flight times from Scottsdale include:
- Palm Springs and La Quinta: about one hour
- Las Vegas: about one hour
- St. George: about one hour
- San Diego and Carlsbad: just over one hour
- Telluride: about one and a half hours
- Santa Barbara: about one and a half hours
- Aspen and Vail: under two hours
- Denver: under two hours
- Pebble Beach and Carmel: about two hours
Sedona and the Grand Canyon are both within approximately one hour.
Actual flight times may vary based on weather, routing, airport conditions and other operational factors.
The TBM 900 series combines speeds of up to 330 knots true airspeed with the runway flexibility and operating efficiency of a single-engine turboprop. Its performance allows passengers to reach airports closer to their final destinations, often avoiding connections, long drives and larger airline hubs.
N910VM is equipped with high-speed Starlink internet, allowing passengers to stay connected and productive throughout the flight.
Through August 27, 2026, aircraft in Little Hawk’s TBM fleet have collectively recorded:
- More than 7,900 block hours
- More than 1.6 million nautical miles
- More than 7,000 passengers transported, including more than 6,500 charter passengers
- More than 500 airports visited
The aircraft have also served more than forty airports with runways shorter than 4,000 feet. Approximately three out of five airports in the fleet’s operating history have no scheduled airline service.
That access is one of the TBM’s strongest advantages. It allows charter customers to select an airport based on proximity to their destination rather than proximity to an airline hub.
“Look at what is available within two hours of Scottsdale,” Walden said. “Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Carlsbad, Santa Barbara, Aspen, Denver and Pebble Beach are all within reach. These are places Scottsdale travelers already visit. The TBM makes it possible to use the airport that is most convenient for the customer’s actual destination.”
Flights from Scottsdale will be crewed by qualified 45 North Flight pilots in accordance with the company’s approved training program and applicable Part 135 requirements. The TBM pilot group includes five professional captains and a full-time first officer. Two members of the group also hold FAA check airman authorizations under 45 North Flight’s approved program.
Walden previously served as a captain at Atlantic Coast Airlines and spent eleven years at NetJets before founding Little Hawk. Since 2014, Little Hawk has focused its aircraft ownership and charter brokerage activities on the Daher TBM.
