Courtesy Automotive Group acquires East Valley Nissan creating Courtesy Nissan of Mesa on Test Drive off Superstition Springs Blvd and US 60. The acquisition expands the family-owned Courtesy Automotive Group’s East Valley footprint that currently includes Courtesy KIA, Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Ram, and Courtesy Jeep. Along with these brands, Courtesy Nissan of Mesa will join the Courtesy Automotive Group family of dealerships that also encompasses Courtesy Volvo Cars of Scottsdale, Courtesy Chevrolet Phoenix, Courtesy Chevrolet San Diego, and Polestar Scottsdale.
A family-owned business since 1955, Courtesy distinguishes itself through the “Courtesy Way” championed by third-generation CEO and owner Scott Gruwell, and his brother-in-law, COO, Jason Church. The Courtesy Way demonstrates Gruwell’s and Church’s dedication to their employees and commitment to Courtesy’s customers, teaching each employee how to treat new and returning purchasers in ways that earn generational loyalty.
Courtesy Nissan of Mesa General Manager, Jimmy Zamorano, is excited about bringing the Courtesy Way and family values with him to the new store. He emphasizes, “Our customers will want to engage in our car purchasing and service experience because they will instantly feel part of the family and will have a great experience with us!” He adds, “This feeling is common across Courtesy dealerships because we’re transparent and find ways to surprise delight at every turn.” For his part, Zamorano says he will be directly involved to ensure 100% satisfaction, so the customer knows they were successful in their deal for their new or pre-owned vehicle.
For the 85 former East Valley Nissan employees who now work at Courtesy Nissan of Mesa, they will experience improved benefits and formalized training in the Courtesy Way which will help them build and maintain the generational relationships that Courtesy is known for across its brands.
