Frutta Bowls, renowned for its vibrant and healthy superfood bowls and smoothies is launching a new restaurant in Mesa on July 16, 2024. Located at 1902 E Baseline Road, Suite 5, the franchise uses only the freshest, ripest and most flavorful plant-based, whole-food ingredients for its menu of customizable Açai bowls and smoothies, refreshers, one-of-a-kind toasts and crave-worthy protein bites.
This Frutta Bowls location is locally owned and operated by Richard Allende, a proud veteran, who brings a spirit of service and commitment to the community with this new restaurant. After experiencing some health challenges, Allende embraced a plant-based lifestyle for half a decade, which significantly improved his overall well-being. He now wants to provide a healthier dining option to benefit members of his community. “This restaurant allows me to blend my passion for health with community service, providing the perfect place for people to enjoy delicious, nutritious food in a welcoming environment,” shared Allende. “I’m thrilled to bring the first Frutta Bowls to Arizona, opening right here in Mesa.”
The restaurant is partnering with the Azura Vets Coalition, a local organization, providing veterans with comprehensive personal assistance and resources, in-house mental health and benefits counseling, navigation for housing and rental assistance and more. Allende will be donating 20% of the proceeds from the first day of the Grand opening on July 16 to this important organization. Also, the restaurant is partnering with the American Legion Post 91, an organization committed to supporting veterans and their families. Both organizations will receive a portion of the restaurant profits from one designated day each month to support the local veterans.
Throughout the first week of the grand opening, community members are invited to the location to experience exclusive promos and prizes, including discounted prices for teachers and first responders.
Frutta Bowls represents more than just a meal or snack to sate an appetite for the moment – it serves as “fuel” that stimulates your mind, energizes your body, lifts your spirit and feeds your soul. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the new local restaurant offers online ordering and delivery through the website and third-party delivery services.
