Taking a “donate first, trash second” approach and partnering with three local charities to donate gently used furniture from its junk removal pickups, M3 Junk Removal — a division of North Phoenix-based M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics and Muscular Moving Men & Storage — is benefitting UMOM, New Life Center and St. Vincent de Paul while saving landfill space.
“You would be surprised at the quality of items people are wanting to part with,” says Ethan Delahunty, director of M3 Junk Removal. “While there might be a scuff or scratch here or there, these items are still in great condition and can easily be used by someone else. We are excited that our charity partners will be able to use these items to assist the communities they serve.”
The launch of M3 Junk Removal in November came at a time of high demand, as 2020 was a record-breaking year for Muscular Moving Men & Storage and M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics even during the pandemic. With out-of-towners moving into Arizona in record numbers, Muscular Moving Men & Storage has seen a 33% increase in business year over year in 2019, and M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics has seen a remarkable 80% increase in business year over year in 2019.
