Recreational Marijuana: It’s High Time for Employers to Prepare for New Workplace Challenges

Prop 207, which legalizes recreational marijuana in Arizona, will present new challenges for employers. Please join us as we discuss:

the potential impact of the new law on employers,
the status of Arizona’s medical marijuana laws and safety sensitive positions, and
how businesses can prepare for possible marijuana use by employees

This seminar will also include a brief discussion on COVID-19 related issues impacting employers, including whether employers may require employees to get vaccinated once a vaccine becomes available, and other workplace considerations in the COVID-19 era.

If Prop 207 does not pass on November 3rd, the labor and employment topic will instead address COVID-19 related issues. More details will follow should that occur.
