Small businesses have been on the front lines when it comes to the negative economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we will get through this and, with the right public policies in place, we will have an opportunity as a group to again lead the state’s economic well-being through the rest of the decade and beyond.
Thanks to Governor Doug Ducey’s office, ASBA was given the opportunity to partner with leading economist Jim Rounds, President of Rounds Consulting Group, to quantify the full impact that small businesses have on our economy and recommend policies that will be beneficial to Arizona’s small business recovery into a state of small business report. Rounds Consulting Group’s report illustrates the significant role small businesses play in the state’s overall business ecosystem, and underscores how critical small businesses are in the context of large business attraction and expansion.
At Arizona Speaks, Rounds will sit on a panel with former Gilbert Mayor, Jenn Daniels to discuss key findings in the report, and what it will take to help us advance our position going forward. Join ASBA and meet our experts on Tuesday, December 8th at 10:00 am.
