SBA Kicks Off World Trade Month with Webinars to Help Businesses Go Global

U.S. Small Business Administration

This May, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will conduct and participate in a series of four webinars aimed at helping participants gain valuable insights on strategies for international sales success.

As part of World Trade Month, the SBA is doing all we can to help U.S. small businesses build their businesses better. Ninety-five percent of the world’s consumers and two-thirds of all purchasing power are located outside the United States. Trade can be a business strategy for survival and rebirth.

Small businesses interested in attending any of these virtual events can register by clicking the links below for each event.

The session will also include information on federal support programs for all your export needs from the SBA, the EXIM Bank, the U.S. Commercial Service, and the U.S. Census Bureau, and the opportunity for you to “ask the experts.” Whether you are a new exporter or an experienced international business, you will get valuable insights on how federal agencies can support your business’s success abroad through E-commerce. This event is presented by SBA, EXIM Bank, the U.S. Commercial Service and the U.S. Census Bureau. (Part 2 of inter-agency WTM series.)

COVID-19 forced many U.S. businesses to provide goods and services from a distance, which now positions them to sell overseas. Please join SBA in celebrating World Trade Month by learning how to build back better by becoming an active participant in the $80 billion global trade economy.

The U.S. Small Business Administration makes the American dream of business ownership a reality. As the only go-to resource and voice for small businesses backed by the strength of the federal government, the SBA empowers entrepreneurs and small business owners with the resources and support they need to start, grow or expand their businesses, or recover from a declared disaster. It delivers services through an extensive network of SBA field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations.
