With an abundance of candidates and policy issues that stand to impact the small business community in this year’s primary and general elections, voting has become increasingly important for small businesses in Arizona. As a result, many businesses are now recognizing the significant impact policy and elected officials have on the wellbeing of their business.
The Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) is thrilled to bring an important elections-related discussion to our local small business community through our signature Arizona Speaks event, hosted virtually on May 11th. Arizona Speaks brings together policymakers, business leaders, small business owners and entrepreneurs to talk about topical issues affecting the small business community. Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer will present key information about Arizona’s voting system in a non-partisan, fact-based, interactive manner to share critically important information about our voting process in advance of the critical 2022 primary and general elections.
Moderated by Jenn Daniels, a former mayor, small business owner, and member of several statewide boards, the hour-long virtual event will be an informative and energetic discussion to learn more about election laws, voter registration, and election administration from the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office and Elections Department.
