In a strategic joint-venture partnership with Phoenix-based Bird Dog Industrial CRG, the real estate development and investment arm of Chicago-based Clayco, will be developing 335-acre industrial park The Cubes at Glendale.
Construction will begin on March 1 of a 1.2-million-square-foot speculative warehouse, part of a project that will ultimately bring to market 5.5 million square feet at the intersection of Reems Road and Northern Avenue in Glendale.
“We’ve watched Phoenix closely waiting for the right opportunity to expand our platform here,” says Shawn Clark, president of CRG, who expects such projects to get the attention of national users. John Lydon and Bill Honsaker, managing director with JLL, will be handling the leasing.
