Texas-based real estate developer SSS Partners, LLC recently closed on $183 million in financing and will immediately resume construction on its plans for a private sports academy for grades nine through 12, multi-sport arena and hotel located at I-17 and Sonoran Desert Drive, adjacent to TSMC. SSS Partners acquired the project that was approximately 50% complete in 2023. With construction now underway, the project is targeted for completion in August 2026.
Along with the 181,000-square-foot, multi-sports complex and arena. the 17.5-acre complex will also feature a 96-room Fire N Ice Hotel for visitors and families. The 60,000-square-foot resort-inspired hotel offers suite-style rooms that include kitchenettes, meeting rooms and co-working lounges, restaurant and bar, guest laundry room and lobby market.
