Tatum Human Performance announced that founder Spencer Tatum has been appointed Chief Athlete Liaison for the newly established Roach Institute of Athlete Engineering at Texas Christian University. In this leadership role, Tatum will help connect academia, industry, athletics, and community partners to accelerate research, innovation, and the translation of scientific discoveries into real-world solutions that advance human potential.
The Roach Institute of Athlete Engineering is redefining how human potential is studied, advanced, and turning possibilities into performance. By bringing together engineering, data science, biomechanics, human performance, and emerging technologies, the Institute will tackle some of society’s most complex human challenges from improving athletic performance and accelerating injury recovery to enhancing military readiness, first responder resilience, workplace perseverance, and longevity.
