Creation, in partnership with Horizon Real Estate Ltd., today announced a new wave of tenants coming to The Switchyard, Queen Creek’s first walkable downtown district, as construction continues to gain momentum across the 10-acre mixed-use development at Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads.

Newly signed tenants Bamboo SushiROOM and PORCH, Zara Nail Bar and Edward Jones will occupy space within the same building, creating a dynamic mix of restaurant, retail and service concepts.

Founded in Portland, Oregon, Bamboo Sushi will make its Arizona market debut at The Switchyard, bringing its celebrated approach to responsibly sourced seafood and innovative cuisine to Queen Creek. The restaurant is known for pairing sustainability with a warm, design-forward setting. The 3,198-square-foot Queen Creek location will feature signature rolls, Happy Hour specials, shareable plates and a thoughtfully curated beverage program rooted in the brand’s mission of sustainability, transparency and hospitality.

“We’re excited to join The Switchyard and become part of the Queen Creek community,” said Ava Brenneke, marketing director for Bamboo Sushi. “The opening reflects Bamboo Sushi’s continued expansion into vibrant, community-focused destinations that value quality, sustainability and connection.”

ROOM and PORCH, a 1,761-square-foot home goods and lifestyle store, will introduce curated furnishings and décor to the project. Zara Nail Bar will occupy 3,519 square feet, offering a modern, full-service nail salon experience. Financial services firm Edward Jones will also open an office at The Switchyard.

The latest additions complement previously announced restaurant tenants Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, Shake Shack and Postino, all of which are expected to open by the end of the year. Together, the lineup establishes The Switchyard as a concentrated, pedestrian-friendly destination where guests can park once and explore dining, retail and services on foot, which is a first-of-its-kind environment for Queen Creek.

“The caliber of tenants joining The Switchyard reflects the demand we’re seeing for a concentrated dining and retail environment in Queen Creek,” said David Sellers, co-founder of Creation. “As the buildings rise, the leasing activity behind them confirms that this district is resonating with both national brands and local concepts looking to be part of the town’s growth.”

Led by LGE Design Build, construction on the $120 million development continues to advance, with three buildings now vertical. Over the next month, roofing, exterior framing and façade work will progress on Buildings C, D and E, while steel erection and framing begin on Building B. Sitewide improvements will include curb and gutter installation, sidewalks, landscaping preparation, lighting bases, irrigation and perimeter enhancements, driving continued visible progress across the project.

Upon completion, The Switchyard will encompass 54,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and office space, along with multi-family residential planned for a future phase. Designed to foster connection and community, the district will feature walkable pathways, inviting outdoor gathering areas and a cohesive architectural character intended to anchor Queen Creek’s growing Town Center.
