Carlisle Companies Incorporated has pledged $1.5 million to expand Phoenix Children’s Suicide Prevention Program, strengthening efforts to identify and support youth at risk for suicide. This new commitment builds on Carlisle’s initial investment, which launched the program’s pilot phase in March 2023.
Since its inception, Phoenix Children’s Suicide Prevention Program has screened more than 100,000 patients, integrating universal suicide screening and evidence-based interventions across its outpatient clinics and specialty care centers. The pilot program has already shown strong results in reaching children at risk and ensuring timely, targeted care.
“Early results from the first phase of our suicide prevention program show strong promise in identifying and reaching youth at risk,” said Carla Counts Allan, Ph.D., division chief and Hagenah Family endowed chair of the division of psychology at Phoenix Children’s. “This next phase deepens our collaboration with Carlisle Companies, allowing us to build momentum and expand the program’s reach and impact across the community.”
