Fennemore, one of the fastest-growing Am Law 200 firms in the U.S., is marking another milestone in its 140-year history with two new offices and expanded services in Idaho.

The moves underscore the firm’s rapid expansion in high-growth markets where economic and business opportunities are reshaping client needs.

“Idaho is a natural next step for Fennemore. It’s one of the fastest-growing states in the country, with a business climate that consistently attracts new companies, entrepreneurs, and investment. Boise and Coeur d’Alene in particular are emerging hubs for technology, real estate, agribusiness, and advanced energy—sectors where we already have deep expertise,” said James Goodnow, CEO of Fennemore.

Over the past year, Fennemore has been steadily growing its local presence in Idaho, beginning with the addition of natural resources attorney Kathleen M. Carr.

Peter J. Smith IV, who joined Fennemore in May of 2025, will now serve as the Idaho Managing Partner. He is joined by attorneys Lindsey Morgan and Katie Sheftic, who bring strength in business litigation and natural resources.

Effective today, Alycia Moss joins Fennemore to lead the firm’s immigration practice. Associate Catherine Renshaw, paralegal Anelei Vasquez, administrative paralegal Lydia Gross, and legal administrative assistant Hannah Olsen round out the team to guide clients through complex immigration challenges.

Since 2012, Alycia Moss has guided businesses, individuals, and investors through the U.S. immigration system. She has represented clients before numerous federal agencies and tribunals, including USCIS, ICE, CBP, EOIR, the Board of Immigration Appeals, BALCA, the Administrative Appeals Office, and federal courts.

“Fennemore’s culture is a natural fit for me: collaborative, innovative, and deeply invested in client success,” said Alycia Moss. “Our immigration practice creates new opportunities for businesses that need trusted guidance in navigating complex immigration challenges. I’m excited to expand these services as part of a firm that shares my commitment to helping clients thrive.”

Now spanning 22 offices and employees in 64 cities, Fennemore’s Idaho expansion is the latest example of the firm’s intentional growth strategy—one that invests in people, embraces innovation, and drives what’s next for clients and communities.
